Hey kid... want a juiced sweet potato?

I love sneaking all kinds of things into kids' juice. Greens, protein powder, moldy socks, sweet potatoes. They love it!

Forget the kids, though, they get enough treats. This one is for you. This juice is creamy and it's everything you love about an orange creamsicle.

You can also freeze this recipe into popsicle molds for a guilt-free frozen treat.

BONUS TREAT: For an extra fun treat, make it a punishable rule in your house that no one touches your popsicles!

No need to cook or peel your sweet potato. Just give it a good scrub, cut it up and you're good to go.

Ingredients

Yields 30 fl oz
  • Apples
    2 medium (3" dia) 364g
  • Pears
    2 medium 356g
  • Celery
    3 stalk, large (11"-12" long) 192g
  • Orange (peeled)
    1 large (3-1/16" dia) 184g
  • Sweet Potato
    1 sweetpotato, 5" long 130g

Directions

  1. Process all ingredients in a juicer, shake or stir and serve.
